Very good skipping rope, well balanced, sturdy and easy

Being at home and not having any gym equipment, i decided to try out skipping so went ahead and bought this Joyfit jumping rope, since i had used a good paid joyfit weights i was happy with the brand.The skipping ropes looks so professional, and i bought the golden yellow color. I sweat a lot, so not sure if the color will stay forever, only time will tell.The handle had no rubber grips which i worried me a bit but later on using them i felt the textured grip was good enough to hold in place and it never slipped my hands. The handle had a hollow for some level so it was light yet sturdy, i felt it was well balanced and never hurt my wrist.The skipping ropes was strong and is a twisted metallic wires enclosed in a rubbery casing. The length of the rope was quite long and approximately 10 feet. So i had to shorten the ropes which i did by removing the black end caps, loosening the length adjusting screw and cutting the require length off using a cutting plyer. Then i placed the end caps to the wires don't protrude out.Adjusting and tightening the length was very easy and the screw was easy to tighten on the rope with the bare hands are the screw head was big enough and the rubber casing of the rope was easy to press against using the screw.The only place where i felt there could be an improvement was the length of the black plastic end caps, it could be given longer as am not sure how long it will hold on to the top and might slip off as days go by (mine was a bit loose on arrival), not a deal breaker for me but still an improvement area.The swing and using of the jumping rope is good and efficient. There is a ball head where the rope meets the handle which allows for free movement. Never had an issue of the rope tangling together like the nylon ropes so it was easy to manage. Since the rope is thin, i found it easy to skip when doing the exercise fast.Overall felt the skipping rope of very good quality and i feel the money i spent was worth it.

I am impressed with the speed of this jump rope. Obviously the ball bearings are doing a good job. My workout time has been cut in half thanks to this. The metals were a little squeaky and rust prone, which can easily be fixed with some lubricant. Aluminium handles add a little bit of weight which helps keep it stable. All in all, a good product.
