It masses garlic easily
It is of good quality and does the job well. Only thing, if you put too many pods at a time you need to press very hard which could lead to breakage in the handle. So better to use few pods at a time.
I bought this as a multi purpose crusher, not just for garlic, but for lemon and ginger too. Looking at the design and being made of alloy I thought this will be the best suited one for my usage. It worked fine for a month, but I saw that the mesh part started cracking up as if the metal was an aluminum alloy. So I would not recommend it for heavy use or for regular use as a crusher. Maybe if you stick with small garlic one at a time, it will last. I am totally disappointed that within few months the bottom part is cracked open and it is unusable now
